There are alot of Broadband speed testing websites out there but you don't really know if it's just a gimmick to get you on the site. Although this site isn't the best looking they have a free broadband speed test:

This should give you a good idea!

Online speed tests seem to give varied results, so we now take requests from our customers and do it directly for a more reliable performance reading.
