5-A-Side Tournament

This charity 5-a-side football tournament has been launched with the sole purpose of raising money for charities across the Burnley and Pendle area. Denwa Communications are organising the event with all funds raised being appropriated through the Rotary Club of Burnley Pendleside.

Entry Includes

1. Use of Soccer Burnley pitches
2. Provision of coloured bibs
3. At least three games per team
4. Trophy for the winning team and medals for the top two teams
5. Prize for the team raising the most money for charity
6. Prize for the individual raising the most money for charity

Charity Name

The Rotary Club of Burnley Pendleside raise money for local charities and many more besides. All money raised from this event will be donated to local charities in the Burnley and Pendle area.

Entries

Entries will be accepted on a first come first serve basis on receipt of the entry fee (£100 per team). No refund will be given once an entry has been accepted.

Charity Sponsorship

Official sponsor forms will be supplied with your entry confirmation and all forms and money must be handed back to Euan Aitken prior to the event. Each team member is encouraged to raise as much money as possible with £25 per individual as a minimum requirement.

Teams

Teams should ideally comprise of 8 members (minimum of 6) with one elected Captain. There will only be 5 players playing at any one time but substitutions can be made as many times as you wish through out one game. Teams can be of mixed gender if preffered. The minimum age for entrants is 16 years of age.

Attire

1. Shin Guards are mandatory and Soccer Burnley will not allow any team to play if any of the 5 players who are
playing at any one time are not wearing Shin Guards.
2. No metal or plastic soled footwear is allowed to be worn while playing, we advise that you wear proper astroturf boots in the interest of safety.

Rules

1. All guidelines regarding attire must be adhered to at all times
2. All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 3 games in the competition
3. All teams captains will need to sign a Captains Pack upon receipt of application

How to Enter

To enter the competition complete the entry form and we will contact you to discuss the entry fee.
Please make any cheques covering your entry fee payable to:

Once we have received you entry form and correct fee we will send confirmation of your entry, a full set of
competition rules, sponsorship forms as well as a Team Captain’s information pack.
