The Avaya IP500 telephone system can support up to 32 users (any mix analog, digital and/or IP phones) This means you have a complete and scalable telephone system solution with your upfront investment protected as your business grows.
The Avaya IP500 telephone system or Avaya IP Office allows businesses to expand to 4 x ISDN30 circuits and 8 expansion modules a total capacity of 384 endpoints and 264 lines. The Avaya IP500 telephone system supports Embedded Messaging for built-in voice mail/auto attendant (no PC required) while the Professional Edition Voice Mail Professional supports all messaging options, including embedded and Call Recording, IVR etc.
The Avaya IP500 telephone System is a 4 Slot chassis, and is 19" rack mountable or wall mountable.
With an external music on hold port, you can choose to add your own music or advertisements to your on-hold customers or simply upload/import your own .WAV file.
The new Avaya IP500 telephone system comes with a new range of extension and trunk interface cards:
Base cards
- 32 or 64 Channel VCM card for Voice over IP endpoints
- 8 Port Digital extension cards
- 2 or 8 Port Phone for Fax, Modem, Cordless
Trunk Daughter Cards fit on top of a base card in the same slot
- 4 Port Analog Trunk card
- 2 or 4 Port ISDN2e (4 or 8 channels)
- Slots accept current range of trunk cards through Legacy Card Carrierâ if you are upgrading
Provides 8 Expansion ports compatible with IP Office expansion units
- Supports 24 or 30 Analog Phones in a single chassis
- Supports a maximum of 272 extensions in system (combined Analog, Digital, and IP) with the IP Office Professional Edition
