Since its introduction in 1995 more than 22,000 Avaya INDeX systems have been sold - 70% in the UK alone. Now, as the product comes to the end of its life cycle Avaya has formally announced that the product will no longer be available for sale from 1st June 2006.

Significantly, although Avaya will continue to technically support the product via repaire and software patches,There will be no upgrades to existing systems will be permitted after 1st June 2006.

What this means is that existing INDeX customers have a while to consider their options. In the large majority of cases Denwa believes the best option for these customers is to upgrade to IP Office or the Inter-Tel platform of Phone systems.
